Every fall when I am on afternoon rides, I kick myself because the sunglasses I use are too dark. This year I was running into the same issue and then I saw the ad for the Eastern Outer Mojave sunglasses.
The price was way below their competition for similar sunglasses so I thought I would take the risk, but I was skeptical that these would perform well in both low and bright sunlight.
My skepticism is gone. I have tried these in both low and bright sunlight and they have exceeded my expectations. In the shadows of the trees on my descents, I have no issues with the lenses being too dark and when I transition out to a sunny ridgeline, they darken quickly leaving me great visibility with no glare issues.
I really like that they didn't fog up even though I was riding in 40 degree weather this weekend. I sweat a lot on my rides, and they didn't slip on my face which is a common occurrence with the sunglasses I used to wear.
